Tiles
As their name
indicate, these tiles are specifically designed to be used in factories and
other heavily loaded areas such as crowded hospitals and schools. Those tiles
can withstand the impact caused by the fall of a heavy tool or piece of
machinery and the abrasion caused by the rotation and spinning of the wheels of
heavy trucks and intense human traffic in the presence of sand, dust and water.
Industrial tiles are made with special emphasis on high mechanical properties
such as flexural strength, abrasion and absorption resistance. Either the
hardest types of marble chips or granite are used and added to a mixture with
the highest possible cement to powder ratio. Some special additives can be used
when exceptional resistance to wear and to absorption is required. Tiles
dimensions of 25x25x2.5, 30x30x3 and 40x40x4cm are
